Portfolios of Harry Lieber
Facades of buildings are full of colors, shapes and other elements. The goal of this series ist to show the beauty and aesthetic of the facades or facade details of modern buildings.
If we walk through the world, normally we look ahead - sometimes we look down or to the left or right. But rarely we look up. This series is to show what architecture can present us, when looking up.
The world is filled with shapes. Architectural design uses these shapes to show the variety and beauty that can be created when using them artfully in structures of all kinds. This series isolates those shapes to show the charm and diversity that they offer both in color and in monochrome.
The beauty of stairs ist mostly overseen from a passerby. Stairs are used to get from floor to floor. This series is to show the pure aesthetic of stairways, especially spiral stairs.
This series expresses the love of Harry Lieber for high-key architectural photography. Light, shapes and lines get more stand out and are giving the photo a unique appearance and aesthetic.
In most cases architecture is made for the human being. The idea to integrate people in an architecturalphoto is therefore obvious. Human presence makes the architecture alive, adds a story to the photo and makes the photo more unique.
